Iowa Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT)

A safe and easy way to use your SNAP assistance benefits.
You must have a user ID and password to log into your account.
You can create a new account and change your password at any time.
When creating a new login, you must enter the last four digits of your Social Security Number, Date of Birth, PAN number, Email address and/or Mobile Phone number, User ID & Password. Select the submit button when done.
When changing your password, you must enter the last four digits of your Social Security Number, Date of Birth, PAN number, old password, new password and the confirmation of the new password and select Submit.
- Your password must be 10-16 characters long.
- Passwords shall be a mixture of numbers, upper and lower-case characters with at least one special character. Only special characters @ . ? ! : ; , " ' # $ % * can be used.
- Passwords must not be constructed to be identical to the previous 10 passwords. Passwords must be entirely different than the previous 6 passwords.
- Minimum password length of 10 characters is required for Client Portal.
- Passwords expire every 90 days.
